My favourite go to place at that food court for over 10 years.
The bbq beef and chicken taste so good and it's cheap. I got the jumbo deal and it was filling. The macaroni, fried potatoes and the glass noodles are my top picks for sides. Their fries tastes just like the ones from Costco. The staff are always friendly when I come. Writing this review making me want to get some Koryo right now!
It has been some time since my previous visit to Koryo Korean, and today I stumbled upon this food court spot in West Edmonton Mall after a brief shopping trip. The barbecue with beans and potatoes that I ordered ended up being quite delicious.
For quick and convenient Korean food, Koryo delivers consistently. The beef and ribs are flavorful, but the real standout is the potatoes. Coated in a sweet garlic sauce that almost gives them a dessert-like quality, they have an incredible texture. There's pieces that taste like caramel, pieces that taste more savory, it's delicious!
Ive been eating here since I was still in high school (2013?), the garlic potatoes are the best and the beef was super yummy and tender, everything combined with the sauce 10/10 cleaned out my plate
Fantastic cook, been there a long time I think, both are great. The food is never a hit or miss it's always a hit ! I loveee the bimimbap bowl (always get the extra sauce at the end) or the short ribs with potatoes that have a sweet sauce on them. Sooooo good. 10/10 food. Prices went up a bit of course, like everything has. Atmosphere is in the mall food court so loud and really busy usually. Go on a weekday and try it!
I give 5 stars due to food and friendly service. My one concern is that the rewards program is not communicated well to the cashier. Not their fault but much of the time I can’t use the rewards and they expire on me. My last shop on September 22 I had my 4 dollar rewards due to my birthday 23 days earlier but it was not processed so it will expire. Other than that it is my favourite fast food place
The only Koryo in town worth stopping at. Despite being in the busiest food court, their quality and service never wavered. Try the Potatoes, it’ll change your life!
